Eric Crouch won the Heisman Trophy in 2001. He also won the prestigious Davey O'Brien Quarterback Award and the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award. The University of Nebraska quarterback became just the 13th player in college football history to rush and pass for more than 1,000 yards in a season as he led his team to the BCS National Championship Game in the Rose Bowl. He is one of only three quarterbacks in Division 1-A history to rush for more than 3,000 (3,434) and pass for more than 4,000 yards (4,481) in a career. Eric is the Cornhuskers all-time leader in total offense. He holds the NCAA record for most touchdowns rushing by a quarterback in a career with 59. In 1999, in a game against California, he tied an NCAA record by scoring a touchdown via a run, a pass, and a reception. Eric is now playing quarterback for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.
